Hell of a Midlife

Have I told you this already?
Midlife is typically associated with sweats, anxiety and sleepless nights. So how then, does one have a 'Hell of a Midlife' rather than a 'Midlife of Hell'?

Well, I believe that you start by listening to your own voice and respecting your own opinion. (After all, you've been around long enough to have learned a thing or two.)
Do more of the things that help you feel good, the things you enjoy the most, and the stuff that fuels your soul?

For me, it’s about gently exploring - new places and old. Cosying under blankets whilst listening to the hushed snores of tired sausage dogs after a long walk in the open air. Etching memories with loved ones, celebrating achievements with a delicate chink of a wine glass. Drowning taste buds in foreign culture.
And writing it all down.

I have midlife to thank for helping me to realise my worth and giving me the confidence to share my writing on this platform.
And I am proud that Hell of a Midlife is gaining more and more traction each day.

I hope you find something of interest in its posts.
